"Subsea Grouted Tee Hot Tap Technology was a successful industry sponsored project jointly developed by Subsea 7 and GL Noble Denton (Formerly Advantica Ltd). Waring Engineering’s experience was important for Subsea 7 when considering a partner for the development of the Grouted Tee technology. In the early stages of development, there were many technical challenges and design variations which meant the project required a flexible manufacturing process from Waring Engineering.
The company worked extremely well with Subsea 7’s project team and successfully met all manufacturing challenges. Most importantly, the project was delivered on time and within the agreed budget. The development of Subsea Grouted Technology was ground breaking in subsea hot taps and it is currently being offered by Subsea 7 globally. The success of this development was real testimony to Waring Engineering’s positive outlook when facing unusual and complicated manufacturing processes."
